Wafik brings to Transworld over 25 years experience in the corporate world, focused on providing strategic leadership and advise in complex enterprise re-structuring, finance and business development.

Having commenced his career with Ernst & Young, Wafik qualified as a CPA in the USA and joined Price Waterhouse Coopers (then Coopers & Lybrand), becoming a Partner in their Eqypt office back in 1996 before leaving to become the Director of Finance for the White House Securities, where he headed the Direct Investment division.

With a wealth of enterprise experience and knowledge behind him, Wafik left in 1999 to become an independent consultant acting as CFO and corporate advisor to major national and international clients including the Oppenheimer Family private fund in South Africa, the Gulf Greetings Group of Dubai and the Egyptian Steel Group.

Based in Cairo, Wafik brings to Transworld a wealth of skill, knowledge and experience in commerce and finance and is responsible for its Middle East operations.
